Computer training experts IACT have renewed their Adobe Authorised Training Centre (AATC) status. New Adobe courses available at the centre will include the world-renowned graphics programmes PhotoShop, Illustrator and InDesign; and the former Macromedia products - Dreamweaver, Flash and Fireworks. IACT has also redesigned its Webmaster and DTP (Desktop Publisher) Master Diploma Courses.
According to Shane Broadberry, Director of IACT, these courses provide all the skills necessary to become a professional web or graphic designer. The courses are certified jointly by IACT and Adobe.
In another recent development, IACT has also started streaming live online and interactive courses to learners who cannot attend classes in the Dublin centre.
’These courses run like our regular classroom courses - they require coursework, exams and a project, but instead of classrooms, attendees take part in weekly online tutorials,’ explains Broadberry. ‘Broadband is required and attendance at the seminars each week is mandatory for course completion; the seminars last approximately one hour and take place twice per week,’ he adds.
IACT was founded in 1993 and its learning innovations have included a popular e-learning CD, online courses, and the publication of leading ECDL software. Previous clients include Microsoft, Dell, Intel, Citigroup, Hewlett Packard and Ericsson.
